Prebiotics and Probiotics

‘Beauty from within’ is an holistic approach based on growing evidence that gut health influences skin health. Beautifully Me contains inulin from chicory and baobab fruit pulp, rich in soluble prebiotic fibre, to nourish beneficial gut bacteria. It also contains LactoSpore® a shelf-stable probiotic. Probiotics are key in maintaining a healthy gut, which in turn supports glowing skin.

Antioxidants

  • Vitamin C, especially paired with hyaluronic acid, helps support graceful ageing of skin. It is also essential for production of collagen. As an antioxidant, Vitamin C protects skin cells from the damage caused by free radicals.
  • Acerola Cherry is one of the richest natural sources of ascorbic acid (up to 100 times more than a lemon) and contains an array of phytonutrients. With its high antioxidant content, acerola also has skin whitening and anti-aging effects.
  • Pomegranate Peel Extract has antioxidant properties such as polyphenols to help promote skin cell regeneration, tissue repair, and slow the breakdown of the skin’s collagen. It also has moisturizing, UV protective and anti-aging effects on skin.
  • Saberry® Emblica Officinalis Fruit Extract – also known as amla and Indian gooseberry – acts as an anti-aging agent, antioxidant, and UV protectant. It is used in anti-aging, skin-lightening, and sun care creams and lotions.

OptiMSM® is an ultra-pure form of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) with 34% sulphur by weight. Sulphur is a key component of collagen that supports the skin’s structural framework. It is also a building block of keratin, the main structural constituent of hair and nails. OptiMSM may also reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture and elasticity.

Glycine is an amino acid our bodies use to make glutathione, a powerful antioxidant. It is also the main amino acid in collagen, the most abundant protein in our bodies. With the loss of collagen comes the loosening of the skin, wrinkles, and increased cellulite.

Bamboo Extract is standardized to 70% silica and provides key nutrition for healthy hair, skin and nails, and helps support collagen production. It supports healthy growth and strength of hair, strengthens nails, and improves elasticity and skin hydration.

Hyaluronic acid powder is an excellent moisturiser and skin plumper. It hydrates and rejuvenates skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, the obvious signs of aging.

Nature’s Nutrients. Carrots, green mangoes, beetroot, and baobab are great sources of nutrients for the maintenance of skin and hair health. Carrots, for example, have healthy aging properties, containing beta-carotene and vitamins A and C.

USE: Adults take three measured tablespoons (8,7 g) daily with 150 ml of water, plant-based milk or in a smoothie. Stir thoroughly or blend in a shaker. Adjust the amount of liquid to suit your taste preference.

Warranties and Returns

  • A 20% handling charge will apply to items returned which were correctly supplied. Courier charges for returning goods are for the customer’s account.
  • Good Life Organic will replace or refund items that are defective or expired at time of delivery. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged after delivery.
  • Good Life Organic must be notified of any damages / breakages within 5 calendar days of receipt of the goods, preferably with a photograph of the damages incurred.
  • “Sale or Return” is not part of our trading terms. Failure to sell goods is not a valid reason for returning them to Good Life Organic.
  • Organic foodstuffs are grown without pesticides, are free of preservatives, and are not subject to fumigation using toxic chemicals. These foodstuffs are therefore susceptible to organisms which naturally consume these products. Considering these factors we can only provide a limited guarantee of 2 months from date of invoice for the products to be free of insects. Infestations after this 2-month period will be deemed to be due to in-store contamination and cannot be refunded.

Deliveries

  • Subject to the availability of stock, our minimum turn-around time for orders is 48 hours.
  • Orders will be processed strictly on a “first come, first served” basis.
  • Interest, minimum orders, and handling and delivery charges are applied entirely at our discretion.
  • Courier costs are for customer’s account, unless otherwise agreed.

Orders and Payments

  • First-time orders and exports need to be paid for in full before goods are despatched.
  • Proof of payment is required. As a wholesaler supplying the retail trade, minimum orders apply.
  • The extension of credit facilities is at our discretion and subject to the completion of an “Application for Credit Facilities” form.
  • All credit accounts must be paid in full within 30 days of invoice.
  • EFT is the preferred mode of payment. Cash deposits will be charged at 3% of the total amount.
  • Overdue amounts shall bear interest at the current bank rates.
  • An order will not be shipped if there are any outstanding invoices / amounts that have not been settled. Products remain the property of Good Life Organic until paid for in full.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Good Life Organic cannot be held responsible for purchasing decisions based on outdated or incorrect price lists. Price lists are available on request.
